January 2011 -Both Marley and Gryphon are in training now.
Gryphon continues his training with Rebecca Musselman 4 days a week.. Rebecca has been working on Gryphons lateral work as well as his ability to "self carriage". She also has varied his work routine so that he stays "entertained & challenged". Erin Jobidon continues to work on his dressage so that they will be prepared for training Level 1 & 2. His Cadora Series starts May 29, 2011.
Gryphon has started over fences! Gryphon has "dabbled" a handleful of times over little poles and crossrails but now he will be doing small fences and gridwork once a week. We are hoping to attend OHTA events this summer and some fall fairs as well. He will have this 4 yr old year to develop his confidence over small interesting fences less than 2 feet. This training regime builds a nice honest horse!
